In The Telling was launched in 2009 to develop and deliver media projects in content areas of personal interest to founder and president Jeff Larsen and his family —health, education, and sustainability—that use heartfelt personal stories as a motivator for appropriate calls to action.

Jeff brings more than twenty years of experience as a writer, director, and producer of multimedia programming, including video, film, software, and radio. Jeff’s creativity and talent as a producer are reflected in numerous industry awards. Being a trained historian, filmmaker, interactive media pioneer, conference presenter, and former broadcast journalist, Jeff has a proven ability to present material in a manner that is both strategic and engaging.
As founder and president of Cooperative Media Group, Jeff secured and managed numerous corporate clients, including Apple Computer, Cisco Systems, Hewlett Packard, MCI, Merck, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Sun Microsystems, TRW, the United States Army, International Thomson Publishing, Houghton-Mifflin Publishing, Oxford University Press, and the Smithsonian Press. His last entrepreneurial venture, CourseNet Systems, Inc., a learning technologies company, was sold in 1999 to a technology consulting and systems integration company to the Fortune 500.
Jeff recently completed his coursework and comprehensive exams for his Ph.D. in Intellectual History from the University of Colorado and is currently working toward the completion of his multimedia-based dissertation, examining the impact of public television in the 1960s on the existential movement in America.
